Airports rarely feel part of the city they serve, but at Balance we strive to connect Melbourne Airport to Melbourne. Here are two examples in which we created a sense of Melbourne at Melbourne Airport.

Idea

During the Australian Open and the Cricket World Cup we harnessed the drama, the action and the fun. For both sporting tournaments we created an on court/field moment for passengers.

Media

Interactive activation zones and displays helped celebrate the tournaments. Social media was used to inform passengers about Melbourne Airport’s involvement.

The Result

Passengers engaged with the displays and shared the experience on social media leading to higher brand engagement on Facebook and Instagram.
