One on One with Balance

Our studio manager Lee knows a thing or two about a thing or two. When he is not churning through and delivering top quality work, you will find him singing along to Johnny Cash or kicking the footy. It’s time to get to know the man behind the Mac.

what is 5040/4?

My mac says it equals 1260 so I’m going with that!

what do you do when you knock off work?

Drive home and cook dinner with my wife. We may have a glass of red and put a record on. If Rebekah gets her way it’s usually Bruce Springsteen

If the the world was ending in 2014, what would you do differently?

I’m sure the world would be pretty chaotic if everyone knew the world was ending. Violent crimes and robbery would be on the rise so I would probably be trying to survive. Oh wait… does everyone else know the world is ending too?

Best travel destination?

I haven’t been many places but I did go to Fiji on Matamanoa Island. That place is so beautiful, we kayaked around it in an hour. The waters are crystal clear and the people are super friendly.

Any fears?

Nothing in particular. I think my biggest fear would be a relative getting terminally ill or something like that!

Favourite Blog/websites.

For design I LOVE under They review the most recent redesign from around the world.  But for more of a lifestyle website/blog I like

Biggest crush.

Other than my beautiful wife, when I was a kid for some reason I loved Larisa Oleynik from The Secret World of Alex Mack. If you’re not sure look it up. I was a pretty weird kid!

Next holiday?

Would love to Asia somewhere. Actually anywhere would be great!

Speciality dish.

I tend not to have a go-to-meal. I always cook with Rebekah together, and we are always cooking new things. However I do love trying anything that Jamie Oliver cooks. That guy is a genius!

First movie I watched at the cinema.

Sadly the first movie I saw at the cinema was “Beaches” with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey.  I was sick at the time and my mum dragged me there with my aunties. I don’t really remember the whole experience.
